Publisher's description of Cryptus

From azprog:

Powerful encryption software. You can compile the encrypted files in a stand alone EXE file. You can delete the files forever. The special programs will not be able to recover them. You can automatically rename encrypted files. They will recover original names and extensions when you decrypt. The key size is according to the password length. Respect your country laws. You are the only responsible of your cryptus use.

This program easily handles basic file and folder encryption tasks, though the interface is convoluted and crowded. Cryptus 2005's skinnable interface is more than a bit hectic, but tool tips, help files, and video tutorials are available for those willing to take the time. Conveniently browse your PC from the main window to select files or folders for encryption. Cryptus 2005 integrates with the Windows shell to easily encrypt or decrypt items from the context menu. The application simultaneously encrypts all types of files selected and offers secure deletion of the originals. This program's flexibility is in setting locations where files can be decrypted and the skinnable interface. It also includes a file shredder and creates self-decrypting executables. On the downside, alternative encryption algorithms are not available, and this demo uses the same default password for all 10 program uses. Intermediate users will find this basic data-encryption utility does the job, but without simplicity of use or flexibility.
