From Ben Spink:
CrushFTP is a lightning fast FTP server with users/groups, ratios, quotas, bandwidth limiters, remote admin, virtual serving, redundancy, .sfv file processing, load balancing, virtual directories, and can even discover your WAN IP if your behind a NAT firewall. Its simple to setup, but still has advanced features no other FTP server has. Combine three servers into one with virtual serving!

"Very powerful and stable software for just $30 and easy to setup"
Version: CrushFTP 4.3.1
Pros
In my line of work (advertising) it is necessary to have a ftp server. I don't know much about ftp. But I downloaded the instruction video and in no time I had my server online. And it's working! I'm now running a ftpserver, http server, webdav with no knowledge of how to set it up. I'm very happy. So are my clients and vendors. BTW i'm running CrushFTP 4.4 on a iMac G3 with 384 Mb w. Pather.
I haven't called for support yet and i'm running it for a month or so with lots of data traffic. What I need is still running 24/7. With email notification and log files I can monitor what's coming in our out.
Remember this is my first experience to setup a ftp server. The video tuts helps a lot.
Cons
It takes quit a while to startup on a G3 (1 min+). But it's a Java thing on older machines. The GUI looks retro (OS9 feel) but hey, it works. With no knowledge of ftp like I, the learning curve can be very steep. Don't waste your time call for support! Safari 3.0.3 crashes when Crush Uploader launches. Instead use the Browser Uploader.
