It looks good, but this clean and attractive freeware theme for Thunderbird failed to install for many testers. CrossOver's well-designed icons and pull-down menus have a clear Mac-like look, and the theme is designed to mimic the Mac OS X Aqua theme.
As with most Mozilla add-ons this one installs easily in Thunderbird. Switching to the theme is accomplished with just a click. However, though advertised as being compatible with Thunderbird 2, the theme wouldn't install for any of our testers with that version of the email client. It also doesn't offer support for the Thunderbird calendar add-on, Lightning.
Users of the earlier version of Thunderbird will find they can easily get the Mac look for free with this add-on, but those with Thunderbird 2 or Lightning are out of luck.
