There are three OSX cron tasks should be run daily, weekly, and monthly, respectively. The problem is that they are scheduled to run when most people have their computers turned off.

This free script allows you to run the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks safely, display the log and output it to your hard drive, and if sendmail is set up, have it emailed to your mail account. 24U Appearance OSAX required (installer included).

What's new in this version:

  • Reintroduced the Monthly cron task.
  • Maintenance reports are sent to your mail account via sendmail.
  • Cronathon outputs reports to ~/Documents/MaintReports/.
  • Updated user interface.
