Copy Paste under DOS

CNET Editors' review

by: CNET Staff on February 27, 2009

This application allows the user to copy and paste text between DOS and Windows, but not if DOS is in full-screen mode. Copy Paste under DOS's simple and easy-to-understand interface clearly labels each button. The copy-and-paste function automatically starts on program start. Copy from DOS is a simple matter of selecting and right-clicking. Pasting into DOS also requires a simple right click. The Windows copy-and-paste functions are unchanged. The program's single quirk is that it must be started only once after opening DOS. When you terminate the program and execute it again, the application fails. You must restart the command prompt to reenable copy-and-paste functionality. Any level of user needing to copy and paste text between DOS and Windows will find this program easy to use and beneficial.
