The Internet contains just about any information you need, but how do you find it? Copernic Agent, a Web-searching tool, allows for better Web coverage by searching multiple search engines simultaneously and intelligently indexing the results. We found that, even with some disabled features, the Basic version begins where Web-based search engines end. Most importantly, Copernic doesn't leave you with thousands of search results, but provides handy options, such as filtering, summarizing, dead-link removal, grouping, and numerical value scoring, to assist in finding more relevant results.
Although Copernic stumbled over some search queries, this tool definitely has some handy features that are perfect for quick and general searches. Overall, it's hard to beat a few carefully chosen keywords on search engines such as Google, but we were impressed with Copernic's search capabilities. After a week of extensive use, we became more comfortable and accustomed to its extensive interface and feature set.

Version: Copernic Agent Basic 6.12 build 722
"favorite search engine now in toolbar form"
Pros: I gotta have software gadgets... sometimes I got so many that they can conflict with each other... but cool that vista and xp lets you alter and manage addons to keep the conflicts from causing trouble. Having the biggest monitor possible (HAH! Monitors are for those who want less stuff on their screens) - I got my pc hooked up to my 100inch projection screen tv! it's the only way I can fit all my toolbars and software gadgets. There are a very few favorite companies I got that seem to make cool stuff - so when I find a company like that, I stick with it. most softwares I keeps are all from a handlefull of companies....
Yeah, the software gotta pass my expectations, and copernic gives me more than 5000 meta search engines to get my results from. If you can find a good software you like - get the name of the publisher or company that made it and check em out to see if they got more you like. Its the way I do things cause when you got something good and a good source where it comes from, you can be happy with almost anything they make.
I got just one more review today to make after an all-nighter of being exhausted searching for cool tools and then i'm outta here.

Version: Copernic Agent Basic 6.12 build 722
"too many items that are not really useful because of the license"
Pros: I downloaded the latest version direct from the copernic site. Do what it says,,, search in different machines
Cons: the oldest version I tested 8 years ago seams more friendly to me. There was possible to choose the search machines, and you could discriminate your options from there.
Now the free version sends you a mixed result according to your "key words", but it isn't so efficient to me. Maybe if you subscribe the payed version....
Too much links to predefined categories and publicity that are only customizable from the payed version

"Very thorough and easy to use."
Pros: Quickly finds files and easy to use the files that it finds. Like the layout of the program. Doesn't bring up a lot of nonsense, just what you have asked them to find.

"Fantastic for finding information and conducting research"
Pros: Basically, Copernic Agent is a program that searches all of the top search engines, and filters the results according to how well it pertains to your search, for whatever you type into the search box. Copernic Agent is amazing for hunting down those sites that have the information you need. A fantastic program to have on your hard-drive. For searching your hard-drive itself, check out the Copornic Desktop Search.
