Version: Cook'n Recipe Organizer 6.998
Pros: nothing
Cons: Cons: Skip over this for your recipe organizer. The GUI is bulky and not very intuitive. Windows within the program also 'disappear' completely if you make the mistake of minimizing them and that is with a 1280x1024 resolution too!!! I had to exit and re-open to find the windows again. It also comes riddled with options to buy all their CDs and DVDs and whatnot. Not even worth getting, as a freebie

"Half of what is advertized doesn't work..."
Cons: I needed to reformat my computer and was psyched that Cook'n had a backup feature... so I created their "backup file," reformated... and guess what - the backup feature doesn't even work, but it DOES shut down the program if you try to browse after the so-called backup! How convenient! All that time entering recipes into a difficult interface wasted...

Version: Cook'n Recipe Organizer 6.998
"Great Interface, Very Easy to Use"
Pros: Very easy to organize recipes. Pretty much idiot-proof. Much better than other programs I've tried. Comes with quite a few recipe samples from their collection. Best recipe program I've used.
Cons: You have to order the CD version to get pictures of the included recipes. The separate collections which can be purchased online operate the same way. If you download them after purchase, they won't include pics. Only the CD version does. Only supports .BMP file format. A bit frustrating to have to convert my JPG to BMP format.

Version: Cook'n Recipe Organizer 6.998
"Useful for the provided recipes, but the free download is limited in its use."
Pros: This seems like a pretty useful program with lots of recipes already included.
Cons: The free download will only let you enter 4 or 5 of your own recipes and then you need to enter a password and purchase the full product (at a discount, at least.).
