This freebie succesfully replicates Konami's 1980s shoot-'em-up game of the same name. Anyone who ever played the original Contra at the arcade or on a Nintendo will find this version to be a walk down memory lane. As in the classic, you control a guerrilla warrior who must navigate platforms in different worlds, picking up power-ups and blowing away enemy troops. However, unlike the original, this iteration doesn't offer a two-player version. Still, you do get some degree of user customization. For instance, you can reconfigure the control keys, choose from a few difficulty levels, and adjust the volume. The graphics haven't improved from the '80s, but combined with the sound effects, they lend the appropriate retro feel. We do wish you could resize the game window, because as it stands, the small interface can make it tough to accurately gauge your enemies, as well as your own movements. Contra World Challenge II might not bring much new to the table, but fans of the original will probably be happy with this version's faithfulness.

  Pros: This one is flash,if you really love contra download an emulator.

  Cons: Bad Graphics....but graphics aren't what makes games fun.

  "May Be for KIDS... This FLASH game is not for me."

  Pros: Contra is an arcade game released in 1987 by the Konami corporation.

  The player controls a commando who battles waves of enemies to reach his ultimate goal, including humans and machines, as well as mutants and aliens. Much of the game's popularity came from its two-player simultaneous gameplay, which was an uncommon feature in video games at the time of Contra's release.

  Cons: - Flash Game.
