"Takes money - does not deliver"

    August 01, 2007   |   By IsabelStorey

    Version: ContentVault 1.0

    Cons

I paid through PayPal - therefore have no redress as their protection policy does not cover digital content such as unlock code. Attempts to contact the "Mark Baker" into whose account my money sits, resulted in perimele@pay2see.com advising me to contact Vantage Services - which I did. Response from Vantage is that the relationship with Baker was terminated some time ago.

The program may work. I would not know. I wanted it to protect the content of a DVD I am preparing which contains as complete a history as possible of the township of Norseman, Western Australia. It is my intention to donate the DVD to local organisations as fundraisers during their centenaries. While I am happy to support the Fire Brigade, etc this way, I know there are TOO many locals who will think it clever to obtain a free copy if for no other reason that they can.

I am most certainly unhappy with Perimele Ltd and would recommend to any and all to be extremely prudent in their dealings. I might add, I have had no response either from AegisDRM - a sister organisation.

"Paid for the product . . . Never Received The Product."

    April 16, 2005   |   By special_ed_1

    Version: ContentVault 1.0

    Pros

Their promotional pieces offer limited budget, charitable organizations such as ours a solution for the educational helps we offer students. What they have described in their promotional pieces at Download.com and at their web site offer hope to developers such as ourselves.

Thus, we purchased the product. It has been four days and we haven’t received the product.

The pro's; I used my credit card to pay for it and at least I can file a claim and eventually get my money back.

If and when I do get the product, I hope it will do what they claim in their promotional pieces with ease. If it does, I will resend this review and offer up one describing how well it worked for us.

Right now, we have a problem with their credibility, and hopefully, this can be resolved with them soon.

We have sent four Emails and have yet to receive a response to our problem of non delivery.

    Cons

If they have developed a product that does what they claim in this ad and in the promotional pieces at their web site, it will be a good thing for a lot of us who create software to help kids.

We are a non-profit organization and create inexpensive software to help students . . . every dime matters.

An inexpensive DRM program would be greatly appreciated.

However, we did pay for the product four days ago and haven't received the product.

If and when we do receive the product, I will resend this statement and publish a rating that states our results from using the software.

    "Yes it works!"

    June 22, 2004

    Version: ContentVault 1.0

    Summary

Yes it works. It's cut down piracy of our multimedia video and flash content from 80% to next to nothing and boosted profitability. Looks useful for internal memos and investor reports too. Good thing Anderson Consulting, Shell and Enron didn't have this technology!

    Good thin
