This utility for ferreting out objectionable content works quickly, but produces mixed results. Since Content Scanner offers no features or functionality beyond its main job, the interface is extremely easy to use, although we wish it could be resized so you could more easily view long lists. The program can scan your PC for files relating to violence, drugs, gambling, and pornography, but the trial version will only let you locate the latter. In our tests, this program took only seconds to scan our entire machine, though we wish you could select certain folders or drives to scour. Once Content Scanner has found potentially explicit data, it shows you filename, type, and questionable keyword. However, the program may be too thorough for its own good, as it brought up a number of inaccurate results. For example, it pulled up a temporary Internet file for our fantasy football league simply due to the inclusion of the word fantasy. Despite its problems, this program may appeal to parents who would rather err on the side of caution.

I am glad that I was able to delete all unwanted porn from our family computer. This software did the job and was easy to use even for a non technical computer person like myself. I would definitely recommend it.

the program simply deletes temp files and history folder from words containing explicit content etc. it's a web based application and has no downloadable form. after sales service SUX this product is crap and nobody should spend their money on it. go and buy snitch instead. if anybody from content purity is reading this review. You should have refunded my money. I'll gladly spend my sunday posting bad reviews of your product.

It shows you every file that has in the name something like "beautiful" or so ... and at a internet log from a program that runs at me it showed every logfile as porn! at my school work it showed it as rape -.- this is not worth a download
