Collectorz.com Movie Collector is the movie edition of the Collectorz.com series of collection managers. It organizes your DVDs, VHS tapes, video CDs, laserdisks, and more. Movie Collector is IMDB-enabled, so you can add movies to the database by just typing the movie title, and the rest of the movie information will be automatically retrieved from the IMDB Web site (http://www.imdb.com/). The main screen offers a flexible Explorer-like view of your collection, letting you group, sort, and filter the data in every possible way. It has a large set of fields, enabling you to catalog a great deal of information. Other features include user-configurable reports, the ability to export to ASCII files and HTML tables, and graphical statistics.
Version 1.2 added improved export functions, improved IMDb connectivity, and better proxy support. In version 1.3, the main screen tree allows multiple levels of folders for grouping, and the list main screen now allows selecting multiple items, so now you can remove multiple movies in one action, and drag and drop multiple movies between folders.
Note: This version limits the database to 25 entries. Registration is $25.
