Supports all TV cards based on BT8x8 chipset, Philips SAA713x chipset, Conexant CX2388x, TV Cards with MPEG hardware encoder. Hauppauge PVR series, Leadtek PVR2000, ATI Ehome wonder, and also works with any capture device like Web cams and graphic cards. Features include TimeShifting, AVI recording using any audio/video codecs, advanced recording settings, advanced scheduler, recording profiles, radio FM support, channel autoscan with fine tuning, support for dscaler/deinterlace/directshow filter, zoom feature, teletext, image processing filters, image capture, mosaic with all your channels, slideshow, and support for more than 25 languages.
Version 4.95 added the option to create a new scheduled task (duplicate) using the information from a previous defined task. When setting a scheduler task only the favorite channels will be displayed in the channels list. For a better usage you can set date and duration for scheduled task using the mouse wheel.

Version: ChrisTV Professional 4.95
"Good intentions, bad implementation !!!"
Pros: The program offers a lot of features, a nice interface and a detailed configuration! It has Video-Text and is capable of MPEG-2 recording. BUT :.......
Cons: The execution is a MESS !!!! It was kind of a lottery, if the program would start up or crash. The recording feature does NOT record as configured, concerning the desired resolution and sometimes it seemed to record, but did not. Another attempt and it told me, the MPEG-2 filters have to be installed properly. After this, I had to reinstall.... AND SO ON !!!
PLUS: The software REFUSES to start, once a cerain DATE has passed, and it assumes, that there is a new version available, which you MUST download, in order to make ChrisTV work again. What do programmers think ?????!!!

"Kick Ass. There is no other product like it out there, period."
Pros: everything. ease of use, different things i did with it. that was just a trial too!!!! Can't imagine if I had the full version, probably wouldn't leave the house! I AM SO POOR THOUGH, MAYBE CHRIS WILL BUY ME A COPY. MY E-MAIL IS cirksena1@comcast.net:>}
