Publisher's description of Chord Pickout 1.5
From Luxand Development:A friend of mine has perfect pitch. The only instrument he needs to guess chords for a song is his own ear. He can listen to a song and easily pick out the right chords. But, what about the rest of us, who don't have this gift? There are hundreds of new songs produced every month. Sometimes scores for current songs are hard to find. This is where Chord Pickout can help. This program uses its artificial intelligence to guess chords for you. All you have to do is to load a media file (wav or mp3) and click a button. Chord Pickout will transcribe the music and write down the recognized chords.
Version 1.5 added ability to print chords.

Version: Chord Pickout 1.5
"Okay, it's not perfect--yet, but it's still a big help."
Pros: With a little music knowledge and this program, you can easily figure out any song. Sure, it's not perfect, but it's good enough for someone with enough music sense to knock out the chords in no time. It's still a very cool program that you should download the demo just to see it work.
Cons: Not perfect. It could lead you astray. Plus, it isn't free and I can't highly reccomend any program that will end up costing money.

Version: Chord Pickout 1.5
"Can come in handy.. but something you should all know before downloading"
Pros: What JDreller said^.
Before i came across this - i've been looking for something like this for quite some time.
Cons: To add to JDreller's comments - it only mentions "14 day trial"... well not only that - the demo only analyzes and transcribes the 18-20 seconds per song. that rather irks me. it would be better if it were FULLY-FUNTIONAL during its entire trial period! i'm hoping that be the case in the next coming future version(s)...(if there will be any)

Version: Chord Pickout 1.5
Pros: If it did work, that is, if it was able to detect the right chords at the right times, the ability to type in the lyrics would have been a nice bonus.
Cons: The harmony detection is really weak. That's the real reason why they only transcribe the first 20 seconds during trial.
