Publisher's description
From myPocket technologiesTM :Tired of manually balancing your checkbook? Tired of "heavy weight" personal financial software? Here's the solution. This program prompts you for the information necessary to balance your checkbook. Then tells you if it is balanced or not, and if not, how much you're off. Very easy to use! And accurate too! Balance your checkbook while you're on the train, on the couch and many other places too! Here's how it works: Calculate all the transactions in your register, so that you have your balance ready. Enter the balance that the bank states that you have (either from your paper or on-line statement) in the "Bank says you have:" field. Enter the balance that you have in your checkbook register in the "You say you have:" field. Enter the transaction amounts that have not shown up on any statement yet into the "Amts Not Posted Yet:" field. Each amount that you enter can be a positive or negative amount. So deposits are positive, and withdrawals are negative. Amounts entered in this field are transfered to the list box to be used during the reconcile calculation. When you have entered all the amounts not posted yet, press the "Reconcile" button You will then get a result stating success or failure. If the result was failure, your checkbook is not balanced properly.
