This release for all Radeon family products updates the ATI Display Driver to version 7.96. The unified driver has been further enhanced to provide the highest level of power, performance, and reliability. The ATI Catalyst software suite is the ultimate in performance and stability. The Catalyst software suite 3.10 contains the following: Radeon display driver 7.962, Multimedia Center 8.8, HydraVision 3.25, HydraVision Basic Edition 3.25, Remote Wonder 2.1, WDM version 3.11. The driver supports 24 languages.

In this release, performance in various 2D applications has improved by as much as 3-6% across the entire Radeon product line. The release adds support for the OpenGL Shading Language (GLSL), a flexible, forward-looking, and hardware-independent high-level graphics programming language. The OpenGL Shading Language, defined as an open standard by the OpenGL Architecture Review Board, allows application developers to take advantage of the powerful programmable vertex and pixel processing units present in the 3D graphics system. Many resolved application and driver issues.

Note: This is a very large (22.5MB) file and may take several hours to download via dial-up modem.
