It always provides you with an up-to-date look at how much you spend on your car(s) and integrates with Microsoft Pocket Outlook to remind you of important maintenance items. By entering details about your fuel use and maintenance, you will keep your cars running their best and will always have an accurate record of when and where you had important maintenance done. When it comes time to sell, you will benefit from having detailed documentation of the service history. Features Car Records Store all of the important details about your car: Purchase Date Dealership Original Mileage Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) Make, Model and Year Notes Fuel Records When you stop for fuel, CarRec will automatically compute your fuel economy. You can also record additional information that will give you a handle on your spending and mileage. Fuel records store the following: Date Cost Start and end mileage Quantity of fuel Driving conditions Notes Maintenance Records Maintenance records can be used to record any sort of maintenance that you have done. If you are restoring a car, these records can be used to store details about items that you purchase or work that you have done, such as getting the car painted. These details include: Date Item or service Mileage Cost of parts and labor Mileage of next service Date of the next service Warranty information Place of service Notes Calendar Integration CarRec is fully integrated with the calendar application on your Pocket PC device. When you enter a maintenance record, you can automatically schedule an appointment for the next time that the same maintenance must be done. For example, when you get an oil change, you can automatically schedule the next oil change for a date (such as three months in the future) or a future mileage (such as 3500 miles, or whatever interval your manufacturer recommends). Your calendar application will be set to remind you both on your handheld device and your desktop computer. Expense Reporting You can always get an up-to-date snapshot of your automotive expenses broken down by fuel expenses, maintenance expenses, and any range of dates you choose. Data Export The data you enter is always available to other applications on your handheld and desktop through a convenient export feature.
