Version: CamStudio 2.1
Pros: Wow! I was thrilled to discover this today! I tried other freebies that were supposed to do what this does and they didn't work. So, I was a bit skeptical about this one.
But this is great! I played around with it to adjust it the way I wanted. I'm a happy camper!!!!

Pros: The program is amazingly light-weight and simple-to-use. The output quality of both picture and sound is on par with commercial competitors; the outputted .avi files are immensely small compared to the competition as well.
Cons: It's a OK program for capturing video for games, and don't lag up the gameplay as much either?but only if you have plenty of CPU to use and a lot of RAM?otherwise the playback will 'flash' and you'll see the background of the game instead of the actual thing.

Pros: easy to use and also free
thats the only program a found that rcords audio from speakers,it is better than the new version
Cons: if your computer has a RAM less than 256,it will slow it down to death :)

"Free, Easy, Quick - what more could I want?"
Pros: It was very easy to set up; the first time had my wave out on mute but fixed that and it recorded video and sound effortlessly - it was great to be able to only select the part of the screen you want - I like it! I don't use this type of software enough to purchase a super-premium version; but I will certainly consider a donation to the developer - great job!

"Simple to use, no bloated features."
Pros: Does exactly what it should. Hassle free.
Note: The download is infact Version 2.0, which is better than 2.1.
