From CallingID :CallingID automatically shows the owner of Web sites you visit, their physical address and an indication whether the site is suitable for online shopping or e-banking. CallingID automatically verifies that a site owner is actively conducting business at a specified physical address and that it is reliable. On the other hand it protects you from inadvertently accessing unreliable sites and avoids unintentionally giving these sites confidential or purchaser information. Risky sites like those with owners that hide their identity, potential or known phishing sites, hacker, and scammers sites are marked "High Risk".
CallingID's unique use of 52 different verification tests to evaluate Web sites provides the highest level of protection. When any of these tests fail, you are urged to rethink your intention to submit personal or confidential information or to place an order from that site. It summarizes results of the tests in a simple indication and helps you decide whether to proceed.
