"WOW! Just works!"
Version: Calico Panorama 1.4
Summary

Geez, can't be much easier making a panorama than Calico makes it. Either drag-n-drop or load your images, click 'Align' & there you go - a perfect panorama that used to take a few hours to perfect to this level.
Used it on a couple pics then bought it 15 minutes later. Just amazing! -
"Very happy with Calico for 8 months"
Version: Calico Panorama 1.3b3
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I downloaded version 1.1 in April of 2006, not expecting much. I discovered that I didn't need to do anything other than have all the photos together that I wanted Calico to stitch. I expected to be required to carefully adjust each photo before Calico would handle the final alignment, but discovered that I didn't need to do anything. Once my test panorama was completed (with the watermark added), I decided to immediately purchase Calico. I downloaded Calico on the 12th, tested it on the 13th and 14th, and received the reg. key on the 15th. I had no trouble with receiving the key. Reply was prompt and Calico worked perfectly on my initial attempt after receiving the key. I tried a 360 degree panorama from photos taken in Humboldt Redwoods State Park. The stitched final outcome was amazing. I heartily recommend this app. -
"Beta doesnt work"
Version: Calico Panorama 1.3b3
Summary

I've downloaded Beta 1 and now I can't try Beta 3.
I take 8MP pictures with my Canon Rebel XT and I need to verify if my bug was fixed before I purchase.
When I was stitching images in B1 (40 images at 8MP), It would CRASH!
Now I want to see if t works and I'm locked out!. I've deleted the preference files, etc and no go.
I recommend using something else (beta's should expire on a specific date and newer beta's should be able to run) -
"Worth every penny!"
Version: Calico Panorama 1.3b2
Summary

Summary: Couldn't be easier to use. Results are smooth, accurate, and sharp. Price is very reasonable for this quality of software.
I'm a freeware junky, so I was naturally attracted to HuginOSX, and was reasonably happy with the results of it. I'd sort of ignored Calico because it wasn't freeware, but after a less successfuly Hugin attempt, I decided to give the Calico demo a whirl.
Fantastic! No need to select reference points. Calico accurately does it for you. I'm very impressed. Aside from the expected beta bugs, which I'm sure will be worked out before the 1.3 final release, I think this is a stellar piece of software.
I will be spending the $40 on this software, and I think it's worth every penny! -
"Magnifique!!"
Version: Calico Panorama 1.3b1
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
this software beats the old Canon photostitch I've used so far by miles and it lets the Photoshop CS stitching feature look pathetic.
Alignment is done automatically and the resulting quality is awesome. Even the exposure correction worked great for me.
Give the guy the money so he can develop more great stuff like that!! -
"Awesome!"

this program is awesome, it works fine, easy of use, and the price is even better.
I've been making panoramas for over two years, and tried a lot of options, this is THE BEST ONE...
Thanks! -
"Amazing...easy and excellent"
Version: Calico Panorama 1.2b8
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
This product succeeds where so many panorama products fail: making it simple to make really excellent panoramas. It is very easy to use (the trickiest part is remembering that you need to click the rotate icon for vertical panoramas) and produces excellent results (far superior to the Canon PhotoStitch program).
Version 1.2b8 does crash with large panoramas, but I've found that re-launching and/or reducing the image size slightly solves this problem. For a beta this is completely acceptable.
Well worth the money. (I only wish I'd kept the originals for so many panoramas I've done in the past as this does SO much better!) -
"Terrific for the Beginner (at least)..."
Version: Calico Panorama 1.1

[Reiterating my comments over at MU]
As a beginner just starting with panoramic images, quick successes mean everything in terms of keeping momentum and not losing interest.
After researching the many panorama creation workflows, tools, and applications available, I was about to lose that momentum...then I came across a reference to Calico on the Panoguide forums.
I downloaded the demo, hit LOAD to import 10 images, hit ALIGN, and within a couple of minutes had a stiched panorama. Hitting MAKE and a few minutes later I had a QTVR image I could navigate.
Very impressive. Of course, I might evolve to something more 'pro' at a later stage, but the key point (esp for the beginner) is the simplicity and the excellent results. This has boosted my interest and helped me maintain momentum...I'm on a roll now.
Very impressed.
