CR2 viewer can easily open, convert, resize and save CR2 image files. Exporting is available in JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF and others file images extensions, providing maximum quality of exported images. CR2 viewer, dispite converting CR2 extension in other file formats, also provide and rotating of the opened image and resizing. Enlarging or reducing of the images with CR2 viewer is done without losing much quality of opened image.
CR2 file type is used by some popular Canon digital cameras, such as EOS300d, EOS350d, EOS400d and Digital Rebel XT. Earlier Canon cameras used the .CRW file format, which is based on the Camera Image File Format (CIFF).

was able to uninstall it and all the bloatware that installed along with it
Cons
added a bunch of bloatware, couldn't open any files without it crashing

Small and easy to install.
Cons
Does not properly decode CR2's from the most recent Canon cameras (at least not the 5D Mark III). Image is discernable, but the colors and contrast are way, way off.
