From CPUID :Find out everything about your computer you ever wanted to know with this program that gives you information such as processor name and vendor, core stepping and process, processor package, internal and external clocks, clock multiplier, partial overclock detection, and processor features including supported instructions sets. This program supports detection of the processor's core voltage, L2 bus width, support for two processors (in Windows NT/2000 only), and memory timing (CAS Latency, RAS to CAS, RAS Precharge).
Version 1.52 includes new design with "Graphics" tab and NVIDIA nForce 980a chipset support.

"Excellent detailed info on computer. The best so far."
Pros: I needed to find out info on motherboard specs and this by far is the one that saved my %$#. Was able to upgrade my processor with the correct one. Especially for Dell motherboards wich by the way suck. I'm just glad i found this on CNET.
Cons: it's not a crystal ball but does the job.
Summary: Just try it. Especially if you need critical system information and hardware info when upgrading.
