Cons: If you save it to your computer, remove the .txt extension so it's just CNET-Update_Watcher.xpi, then drop it to your FireFox Extension Manager window. It will then install.

Pros: tells you when your favorite programs are updated
Cons: when you download it, in my documents hit tools,then folder options,click view and uncheck "hide extensions for known filetypes" now go to your firefox's download folder(the file is CNET-Update_Watcher.xpi.txt) then rename it to "CNET-Update_Watcher.xpi" and drag it to your firefox's extension manager window and it will install.

Pros: Tells you when new updates are out. Saved me alot of time by this little add on ^-^.
Cons: A little to hard to install but that is about it. But anyone that knows a little about computers can install in hopefully. ^_^

"Great way to find updates for your favorite software."
Pros: It'll pop-up whenever an item on your CNET Download.com Watch List is updated.
Cons: The installation is a bit hard. When you download it, it'll appear as a text document. You'll have to go into Folder Options (under Control Pannel), click the "View" tab, and then uncheck the "Hide file extensions for known file types" checkbox. The file will now be named "CNET Update_Watcher.xpi.txt". Rename it without the ".txt". Windows will ask you if you want to change the file extension. Cilck "Ok". Now open up Firefox's Extensions manager. Just drag-and-drop the file into thwe window. Firefox will ask you if you want to install the extension. Now just install the extension using the normal procedures.

Pros: I'll bet it's good, but...
Cons: All I got was a text file that was in code. It would not open in Firefox at all! A little instruction goes a long ways!
