Although it lacks a few of the bells and whistles found in other PC-cleaning applications, this free program offers more than enough features to make it a worthy download. CCleaner's interface is logically designed and makes it easy to wipe away your tracks from Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, and Google Chrome from various Windows system areas, and from some third-party applications.
CCleaner doesn't support the large number of extraneous programs that some competitors do, but it can erase traces from such popular programs as Spybot - Search & Destroy and WinZip. CCleaner now offers secure file erasing along with a Registry-cleaning utility that quickly scans for invalid entries before removing them. CCleaner can even back up your Registry before removal, in case it accidentally removes a crucial component, and the download includes a rudimentary feature for uninstalling any program on your machine.

None, Inexperienced users show check what will be deleted with the cleaner feature, do analyze first, then if it looks good run cleaner.

Very good freeware, good option features. Simple and easy to use. Like all freeware it does miss a couple things but overall, very good. Would like it to access a couple more applications in the cleaner. Keep up the good work.

Super easy to use. At first you might be a tad bit confused, but it's really easy to know how to use it.

When it came to scanning, for tech-phobes like me who don't really know the difference between anything I didn't know what I should scan. and only scanned what I knew. But if you know more about computers I'm sure you'll be at ease with this program.

Ccleaner is an excellent software to get rid of some useless junk files in your computer , such as temporary files , or broken files that can't be used anymore. Default options are best used for inexperience computer users. Tweaking the software can lead to better cleaning but can also cause loss of important data. Default options are best to use , as it is safe and does a well job. I really recommend Ccleaner as it is good and well-known and trusted by majority.

The bottom line is, yeah its the best of its class software, for free! You can buy these really expenisve software, that is so confusing to use, and you are not even sure it worked after it ran. Plus they take up so much room and slow down your computer, CCleaner does the oppisite of that, Easy to use, you can see it cleaning up the junk files, and you know it takes only up a small amount of room! Also lets not forget the updates! They are free, and always matching the new software out there, so you always get a good clean! My experience of using the FREE software, is everwhere, At my High School, I am the Senior Tech, for everything, and when I get a teacher complaining about there computer is slow, I download and install CCleaner! Its Quick and Easy, and Safe!! It now belongs on 85% of the Schools computers. I use it when I am preforming any task on my Mothers Business Computers, she sells and buys on Ebay, and other Sites as such. Also use it on my personal computers too, I have been useing this wonderful software for about 13 Months and its the best out there. I do a lot of web surfing, downloading, installs, uninstalls, to once a day I run ccleaner, it cleans so fast and deep, my laptop stays in peak preformce! If you havent tryed this software, yet, I recommend that you TRY IT, if you don't like it, just uninstall it!!! I can go on and on all about this sofware. Just Try it.
