Although it lacks a few of the bells and whistles found in other PC-cleaning applications, this free program offers more than enough features to make it a worthy download. CCleaner's interface is logically designed and makes it easy to wipe away your tracks from Internet Explorer and Mozilla, various Windows system areas, and some third-party applications.
CCleaner doesn't support a large number of extraneous programs as some competitors do, but it can erase traces from such popular programs as Spybot - Search & Destroy and WinZip. Also missing is a secure file shredder, but it makes up for the omission by supplying a Registry-cleaning utility, which quickly scans for invalid entries before removing them. CCleaner can even back up your Registry before removal, in case it accidentally removes a crucial component, and the download includes a feature for uninstalling any program on your machine.
Since this free application handles the majority of PC-cleaning chores and offers a nice extra, we have no problem recommending CCleaner to all users, except those who need to get rid of supersensitive data.

Pros: easy to setup and use, fast efficient scan,cleans alot of useless files, cookies and past web use tracks.
Cons: nothing big, but hope you have a good memory, will delete stored web site pass words if you don't watch it the first time you use it.

Pros: Excellent tool with many useful features
- Deep & efficient analysis
- 1 click removes junk & obslete files (in Windows system &other applications) that may slow down pc
- Advance clening option (cache) for experts
- 1 click removes unuseful registry keys(not so efficient)
- uninstall manager(excellent)
- cookies manager(excellent)
- online help
Very useful , easy to use even for beginners ( 1 click )...& freeware .
I still love WINASO & think is still a little better...but it's not freeware !
Cons: Registry scannnig & cleaning is not the deepest i've ever seen , however not bad

"The greatest program ever conceived."
Pros: This has got to be the greatest program I've ever seen.
1. It's quick, easy, and simple.
2. It's amazingly small, less than a couple hundred KB to download.
3. It installs quickly and without any fuss.
4. It's not intrusive, and there are no extra things put on your computer during installation.
This program is a MUST-HAVE for anyone that owns a PC.
People have this misconception about Ccleaner. Many people think that it actually deletes real files, and that you will find yourself losing important documents, or find your system crashing... But you wont.
CCleaner simply deletes old system log files, temporary internet files, unused windows files, cookies or any residue left after an uninstallation.
CCleaner also has an extremely quick, yet primitive Registry Scanner. It isn't amazing, and it doesn't compare to the likes of Registry Mechanic 5... But it's easy to use, and takes less than 30 seconds to scan your registry and find simple errors to fix.
This is a program that no-one can do without, and will save you hundreds of MB's worth of disk space.
