Although it lacks a few of the bells and whistles found in other PC-cleaning applications, this free program offers more than enough features to make it a worthy download. CCleaner's interface is logically designed and makes it easy to wipe away your tracks from Internet Explorer and Mozilla, various Windows system areas, and some third-party applications.
CCleaner doesn't support a large number of extraneous programs as some competitors do, but it can erase traces from such popular programs as Spybot - Search & Destroy and WinZip. Also missing is a secure file shredder, but it makes up for the omission by supplying a Registry-cleaning utility, which quickly scans for invalid entries before removing them. CCleaner can even back up your Registry before removal, in case it accidentally removes a crucial component, and the download includes a feature for uninstalling any program on your machine.
Since this free application handles the majority of PC-cleaning chores and offers a nice extra, we have no problem recommending CCleaner to all users, except those who need to get rid of supersensitive data.

"More Efficient than the standard windows cleaner"
Pros: Works well, This is 100% better than the standard cleaner that comes with windows in everyway, it's way faster at loading, Has more cleaning options, cleans in a matter of seconds, and easier to use. also is free to use. Only thing missing is a secure shredder maybe will be implemented in the future.

Pros: Fast scanning and cleaning of junk. Easy to understand interface. Comes with lots of features. It has an uninstaller manager too[that's how I call it!]. And it even has a registry checker. That's a lot of features for a freebie.
Cons: It doesn't have a file shredder. And sometimes, when clicking an issue[registry error], the app quits. It also happens when clicking a name in the uninstall manager. But it happens seldomly.

"Much Better than the Windows Disk Cleanup"
Pros: This is great little program that works quickly...the first scan i done cleared over 500mb of useless / unneeded data!...and that was before starting to uninstall any programs. This is well worth the download and it's free!
Cons: No probs...but the progress bar is a bit annoying because it keeps reaching the end then starting again like an animation (that's when you analyse).

Pros: its user-friendly interface,its scanning capabalities for useless files, registry & file issues makes it one of the best. Such fast scanning & removal speed, i have not seen in other similar programs. Surprising its FREE ! Expected to see Spyware, but None ! Go For it !

Pros: This program really did clean up the crap on my computer! It sped up my pc significantly and beats some commercial software in efficiency.
