Version 7.20.03 edited Media window: You can now use F5 (first), F6 (previous), F7 (next) and F8 (last) to move from record to record. Date Selection Calendar: You can use the keyword to select a date (Ctrl+arrow down to open the calendar, then the arrow keys + Enter to select date).

"FEATURE RICH, MS-ACCESS DATABASE WITH TOP NOTCH SUPPORT"
Pros: Non proprietry database format, packed with features (many can be user customised). The developer (Fredrik) pays close attention to what end user wants. There are many interfaces provided through import, export and reports.
The user forum is very active and will provide help on most aspects of the program. * HOWEVER * Be warned that use of CATraxx is seriously addictive.
Cons: The focus of the program is on albums and tracks, what this means is limited functionality if you want to focus on songs. You cannot model a track as a performance of a song.
For example, in CATraxx you may have 10 albums with the track "Let It Be", each of those ten tracks will have a composer credit of "Lennon & McCartney". With a song based approach, the ten tracks will relate to just one song with the composer credit.

"Great product - tremendously configurable - can't go wrong!"
Pros: I've tried a number of other music catalogue programs. CATraxx has eneded up being my favorite. After a few yeas of use I now have approx 1,000 CDs and LPs entered. My music tastes span classical, jazz, bachelor pad, pop, and rock. I've been able to configure the system to support all types of music. In my classical lists, I've developed techniques to track by composition. For my MP3 music I've got it categorized and classified as well. Great product.
Cons: Native support for classical compositions would be great.

Pros: I use it to auto fill out the tags of the songs. It works rather well.Not always have right results but 80% is the acceptable number.

Pros: Very adaptable, support on the forums of the first caliber, and a nice, helpful group of owners, many of whom have worked with the system for a long time. Suggestions are welcome and acted upon.
Cons: Somewhat steep learning curve, due to the many anticipated situations. I would be amazed if your situation is not covered.
