Version: BufferZone HomePro 1.90-11
Pros: NONE!
Cons: After installing this program I just spent a couple of hours trying to get back to my desktop. I had to use a custom recovery cd and take various steps (editing registry, etc.) to get my computer working properly again. I DO NOT recommend this program at all! If I could have, I would have given it a ZERO star rating. You've been warned!

"Nice concept, needs some work..."
Pros: Unfortunately, it crashed out on my server2003 os. So that ended it for me. Looked promising but didn't deliver maybe I'll try again next time on my XP system.
I also have to do some poking around at some of the other players in this space - SandboxIE, SecureOL, Greenborder.
Cons: First off this download hosted by CNET is not an actual program but an installation shell to download the full actual program which to me is a very deceptive, misleading and annoying practice. The actual download is almost 8 MB vs the 676Kb "version" hosted by CNET.
The program also attempts to "call home" to Bufferzone without warning - Thankfully my firewall detected and allowed me to block this unwanted attempt.
Unfortunately, after that it crashed out on my server2003 os. So that ended it for me. Looked promising but didn't deliver maybe I'll try again next time.

Pros: The program looks nice but unfortunately did not work on my pc or laptop.
Cons: First installation failed. I received a message that "error occured while loading the installation package from the website."
I even tried redownloading the program to install. Second attempt, the product was unstable, crashed after reboot and had a confusing installation.

"Pretty doggone awesome if I say so....."
Pros: A-1 protection and security. Not at all difficult to use, as a matter of fact, it was quite easy to learn. It's not easy trying to find a decent security program... Not everyone will agree with my preferences, but for me - Bufferzone worked out just fine.
I am one of those cheapskates who prefer 'free' programs... But 29$ is not that bad a price for the offered security. Kind of strange, though that it doesn't work if certain other programs are installed on the computer as well. I thought that to be a little unusual.

"Keeps your PC clean! Excellent Protection."
Pros: Very nice idea, never seen anything like this. Why didnt anyone think of this earlier??? you basically get ultimate protection!
