"Doesn't Work Right"
Version: Breeze Light Edition 5.6.8
Pros
A sparkling review from the programs publisher in 2007.
Cons
This program is supposed to capture, display and play files from devices like your webcam, but it doesn't begin to do the job. The enumerously organized menu and buttons didn't help Breeze out of its lethargy. It would be better to cover the basics first, before all that signal splitting and cross-comparing and auxilleratin'.
Summary
The search for Xtremeware!Media continues. But even the simple is too much to handle for this program.

""Capture image from video" features are really good"
Version: Breeze Light Edition 5.4.6
Pros
Breeze is interesting and original video player with a number of new interesting features I never seen before. I found in Breeze several really useful features allowing to capture images from the video "on the fly". It can be done by usual Ctrl-C way, or by clicking special "Get image" buttons, or automatically to the files.
One very useful varitant is a capture from the video cash. I play video, then pause it, then begin to play most recent frames saved in video cash, up to hundreds and thousands of them, depending of settings. Main video stream is paused at that time. I found it very cool to step or play through frames forward and backward and capture precisely the frames I need. It is really useful, simple and effective tool for that sort job.
There also other interesting features, particularly PIP (Picture In Picture), but in the Breeze Light Edition they are rather limited. In the Breeze Professional Edition and Standard Edition PIP feature are much better. On the other hand Breeze Light is free, and Breeze Pro and Standard and only free to try for 30 days.
Anyway I recommend Breeze to everybody who may need to capture frames from video.
