Easily set and maintain a multiboot system with this application, but be prepared to read the user manual first. BootIt NG's multimenu interface resembles an older Windows GUI, although it proves easy to navigate. This is not an application for novices, and all other users should read the 54-page Getting Started Guide before diving into the complex options and functions. You'll need to burn an ISO or create a floppy boot disk to install and run BootIt NG.
The program makes it very easy to create and resize partitions. You'll find that most commands are FAT file system specific, but select functions operate on NTFS drives. If you use this application to create a multiboot system, you will actually create the most-used Normal Boot Menu in very little time. Working with partitions is just as easy, as most commands are selected with a single click. A series of easily selected options makes it simple to set up users and other options.
Less often used, but as easy to work with, are functions to back up and restore EMBR data and to image drives or partitions to new drives. There may be easier-to-use multiboot managers, simpler partitioning tools, and faster drive imagers individually, but BootIt NG performs all of these jobs very well.

Version: BootIt Next Generation 1.85b
"Be VERY Careful... and hope you're lucky."
Pros: It works... to a point.
Cons: You can destroy your PC without even trying...
Summary: After two days of 'evaluation', my copy began to put up a 'must register to use' window. After an OK to that, the PC refused to boot ANYTHING, just beeped repeatedly. And, you can't uninstall the BootItNG utility unless you can boot, so... you've ... read more >>

"Just fabulous ! That's the best at the best price!!!"
Pros: Undestructible ! Very, very stable.
A huge knowledge database of the boot systems and OS installation.Cons: The interface GUI is not funky, but that's not a big deal.
Summary: I've tested Acronis Os Selector and I had many many troubles.
I've tested and bought BootIt because It works fine (that's not often in the computing world) and now I'm running 9 XP and Linux on my PC...
