Version: BootIt Next Generation 1.81
Pros: Since years i use a combination of the bootmanager bootstar (no longer being developed) and norton ghost to manage my o.s. installations. After building a new comp and some trouble using bootstar (maybe it still works, not sure) i looked for a replacement without much hope to find something usefull. There are quite a few bootmanagers around but i only like those who use the technique of modifying partition-entries in the bootrecord. After encountering some unimpressive utils i saw boot-it and got a bit exited ;-) and for good reason it proved. I only have tested it today but i can say it's the perfect bootmanager AND o.s./backup-manager already and for a price that could put other utils ashame. Honestly i think it's worth 100plus euro instead of the 27 euro i payed for it but im not complaining. The utility is very user-friendly, advanced, and has a nice windows-independent graphical overlay. People who have little experience with computers may find the util a bit complicated at first glance, but would soon wonder how they ever did without it.

Version: BootIt Next Generation 1.81
"?Bootit Next Generation? is my favorite program."
Pros: I am mostly impressed with its ability to quickly image and restore my vista OS partition. It?s very fast, and It has never crashed for me that I can remember. It took me a while to get used to the program lingo, which initially made me frustrated and disappointed with ?Bootit Next Generation?. But after going through a ?learning curve?, I eventually came to the point that the program seemed amazingly simple to use.
For me the most important function of ?Bootit Next Generation? is to image and restore the partition that I have my operating system and programs installed on. I am able to Restore my ?Vista Lite? operating system, from a 1gb ?Bootit Next Generation? IMG file, that restores a ?3gb Vista Lite OS?, in about 62 seconds.
Cons: Managing the partition Formats, Sizes, and locations seem to work well. Although, I did have some problems with the NTFS partitions that I created with ?Bootit NG?, because my ?Vista Lite OS? did not seem fully compatable with those partitions until I reformatted them with vista?s Disk Management Utility. But even so, I still find the partitioning utility very useful and very functional, and I use have used it many times to reorganize and reformat my partitions according many alternative organization schemes that I came up with.

Version: BootIt Next Generation 1.81
"Easy as Pie 2 setup.. Blows all others away"
Pros: I'm disabled, it hurts 2 type and my fingers jump 2 any keys they want. Well Bootit NG is s simple 2 seotup its almost like i didnt use my fingers. I also have a hard time seeing, since Bootit NG is easy 2 setup and use its less reading until i feel well engough to read. took about 8 mins (in my present state) to set it up for Quad bootingpl 4 existing operating systems i had set up. And its the first i've found so simpe 2 setup even the partitions u want to hide and the ines who shoukddo the hidden partitions (you'd think outher software would getthe idea - loo4 for primaries).. nope onlyit NG 9as quick)
Its fast, easy 2 use , it picked up all my disabled
Cons: What i don'y likre about it it wasnt advertised where i could have purchased Bootit NG a few years ago. would have sved a iot of time 4 me & others
