All things considered, BoomBox Internet Radio Player is a useful tool for music seekers. The program is now free and doesn't contain adware, although you still should be alert during installation, as the program bundles an online casino program. However, you can easily get around installing it simply by unchecking the correct box. On the plus side, the number of available radio stations is enormous, and, in addition to genre details, the program tells you which song currently is playing on each station. Though not always accurate, the Now Playing feature still will give you a sense of the rotation on a particular station. Stations stream through media players such as RealPlayer and iTunes, and you can start recording at any point. BoomBox Internet Radio Player's comprehensiveness, smooth buffering, and recording functionality could appeal to audiophiles looking for alternative sources for new music.Publisher's description

It comes with a suite of options and search methods for quickly finding the station you want, and it displays the song the station currently is playing. It also comes with its own favorites database for storing stations that fit your musical interests. The program comes with one of the most advanced streaming-audio recorders on the Internet. It allows you to set when the program will stop and how it should cut the song, and has advanced song-change detection to keep each song in its own file.

Pros: You can access hundreds of radio station online with it and enjoy your life. It's free.

Pros: This thing is friggin kool, has more stations then you could ever possibly want! Easy to use! Free!
Cons: Sound could be slightly better...would like to see a more accurate display of current song being played, other than that this things perfect! DOWNLOAD IT!!!
