"Finally Book Library Software that does what a user needs"
Pros: I've been a BookLibrary user for several years. Since that product is no longer supported by the developer I've been looking for something else. I started to go down the BookCollectorz path but that software is VERY limited in what you can import. So if you are a user of another product (or even an excel spreadsheet), you can't import the data you were tracking. The BookCollectorz database is very closed.
That is NOT the case with BookCAT! With BookCAT, you get more fields than you may ever need plus 19 custom fields.
I'm finally looking forward to moving to new Book Library database software! I'm thrilled I found BookCat.
Cons: I'm not 100% sure yet (still waiting to hear back from BookCAT support. It appears to me that once I import my 2500 records, I will need to manually do the Internet Query Update to pull information into the database. I can't tell if the import utility that is available will do the query or not.
