This database-style application allows librarians and collectors to input key information about their books, but its cluttered interface and awkward functionality leave much to be desired. Book Librarian Plus allows you to input descriptive information about your books, including title, author, subject, type, synopsis, condition, and borrower. You can easily maneuver among records, and click a tab to sort by title, author, and subject, among other options. The alphabetical sort option, however, just highlights the line in which the letter appears rather than sorting the records. Duplicate buttons clutter the screen, but click a wrong button and you'll spend time trying to locate your records. Several simple reports are available, and the report designer feature has a helpful option to print the reports on index cards. Users charged with organizing small libraries may want to check out the no-frills Book Librarian Plus.Publisher's description
