"Never buy this product. Output is very low quality."

Nothing at all.
Cons
Not easy to use. Finding scenes is very hard. Gives no flexibility to the user. And most important low quality output.
Doesn't worth its price.Summary
You can buy a full video editor program (like corel video studio) paying only a few dollars more. It does the same job (direct stream copy) and many more.
I used it for mpeg2 files. Output videos are very low quality they freeze as playing in windows media player. -

Youtube doesn't recognize the Boilsoft video format.This error occurs many times.But Ultra Video Splitter works nice for the Youtube.

Boilsoft cuts mp4 video more longer than chosen time.And sometimes after splitting video disappears, only sound remains.

I bought Boilsoft video splitter
but the program does not work for me.
Every time I want to split a mpg-file by selection (start and stop)
the program ends without error but before the video is finished.
I use *. Mpg files that are created by the WinTV v7.0.29304 (CD 2.4D) and hardware from Hauppauge Computer Works

When I ask support at Boilsoft for help, I get no response other than a canned response about have to download the latest version of the program.Cons

expensive compared to other similar products, single function - you have to buy they video joiner if you want to join any files
Summary
It is a good product for the complete begginer but for the price it should definitely have more features like joining a file you have previouly splitted.

It is easy to use. It can open my mpeg2 file.
Cons
It does not output file in mpeg2 format. I output in mpeg format, but the captions are totally lost!
