BluefishRx is an application for Palm handhelds that streamlines the prescription writing, coding and charge capture process. With BluefishRx, all your code information is at your fingertips with powerful search capabilities, including a multi-keyword search engine.

An essential tool for physicians, BluefishRx is the first Palm OS code lookup tool to incorporate the entire ICD-9 and CPT code set with the full and short code descriptions. It includes an advanced multi keyword search tool with a dictionary of over 500,000 indexed keywords. Keywords are indexed to appropriate codes even if they are not contained in the actual code description. Keyword searches are lightning fast, even on older Palm handhelds.

Most code tools available today are little more than e-books of long lists, and heavily edited descriptions. Such tools are cumbersome on the handheld and provide little value to the physician. Bluefish has concentrated its efforts on making the desired code quick and easy to find via multiple routes. You can search for codes by:

Drilling down through a proprietary set of ICD-9 Disease Categories.
Searching by the code number.
Searching by one or more keywords.
