CNET Editors' review
This simple feed reader performs admirably without bells and whistles. The BlogExpress interface takes seconds to learn. The program works well as an application for users new to feeds and feed readers. That's important since there isn't a Help manual or publisher support for the app.
Utilizing a few pull-down menus and about a dozen buttons, BlogExpress can easily load, sort, and display RSS and Atom feeds. The app makes it easy to add categories, new feeds, or to open a post in Internet Explorer. Especially helpful is the easy OPML import and export feature. With a simple button press you can refresh any feed, category, or all subscriptions. Reading posts is easy in the large display window, but you can't change text format, font, or size.
With a click you can open a post or Web site in a background tab. Memory overhead was similar to Firefox. BlogExpress deserves a test by any novice user looking for a fast and simple freeware feed reader.
