BlackWidow is a site browser that will completely reconstruct a Web site in an FTP-like window. It will present the site's profile in a Windows 95 Explorer format (folders on the left, files on the right), showing file sizes and last-modified dates. You may save the site's profile as a Web file for later use and/or merge other profiles together. BlackWidow also lets you download files comprehensively or selectively across folders from any Web site. You may download from a Web site while another is having its profile constructed; the program supports multiple instances as well as unlimited simultaneous downloads. Long filenames and all linked extensions, as well as username/password and proxies, are supported, and many more options, such as suspend and resume, are included. BlackWidow consists of two separate programs that operate independently from each other to form a crash-proof package. This maintenance update fixes minor bugs and adds the following features: the Clear Window option lets you clear the window content, and the Built Structure Only option lets you build Web site structure directories (folders) without their contents (files). This allows you to preview a site before downloading from any of its folders.
