    Version: BlackBox Password Manager 1.9

    "KeePass rebranded"

    Pros: KeePass is a very nice Password Manager. This application is KeePass given another name. Since KP is open source I guess that is OK.

    About the only improvement I could see in my short test of BlackBox is that the help file is more detailed.

    Cons: My main gripe against KeePass is that, if you want backups of your password database you have to install plugins that are not easy to understand.

    BlackBox offers to install a toolbar from Best Security Tips.

    Summary: Since one may decline to install the toolbar this is not a very big deal, but it shows that this software is mainly being used to promote the website. If one wants support of this application you will probably get more info at KeePass's sourceforge... read more >>
