Publisher's description
From Bitberry Software :BitZipper will let you extract and create almost any type of compressed file with superior ease of use. It has built-in support for ACE, ARC, ARJ, BH, BZ2, CAB, ENC, GZ, JAR, LHA, LZH, RAR, TAR, TBZ, TGZ, UUE, WAR, XXE, Z, ZIP and ZOO files; no third-party products are needed. You can access almost every compressed file with just this one tool. Another one of BitZipper's strengths is that it comes with four user interfaces to provide solutions for new and power-users: A very friendly Wizard interface for new users, a Windows Explorer-style tabbed interface for experts, a batch (bulk) processing interface for power downloaders and an interface accessible directly from Windows Explorer's right-click menu. BitZipper supports strong AES encryption, which NSA announced is secure enough to protect classified information up to the Top Secret level.
Version 5 introduces support for BZIP2 compression. BZIP2 is supported as stand-alone BZ2 and TBZ files and as a WinZip compatible extension to the existing ZIP file format; adds Unicode support, which enables BitZipper to compress and extract files with e.g. Japanese and other Asian and eastern languages.

Version: BitZipper 5
Pros: I've been an user of WinRAR for years, althought I always used the demo version until one day I got tired of the 40 days expiration window screen.
While surfing on SerialDealers I found this software, I had 2 or 3 credits left so I decided to buy it, I didn't try the trial, I just went away and bought the full.
I liked it since the first time I used it, it had almost everything I wanted, and even some new features that at first I thought I wouldn't use but now I do, such as the backup feature.
I also saw that it had a very simple wizard, althought I'm an experienced Windows user for years, I just went away with the classic interface which really reminds of WinZip, althought I haven't used WinZip in seven years, at that time, WinAce or WinRAR was a better choice for me.
I can tell I like everything about this program, I haven't had any DLL corrupting problem like I read in the previous coment, I have this program since April or May and it has worked perfectly since then.
-Uncompresses all archive formats, even many that I didn't know they existed
-Has a backup tool which doesn't seem very interesting at first, until you're more into the program and you find it very useful, this isn't seen in any other archive utility. This is like an extra, which after all gets to be very interesting.
-Very WinZip style, if you're used to WinZip, this one will be so easy to use.
-Batch tool, another tool I thought I wouldn't use and now I do.
I don't know what else I can tell about this software, just that I'm very happy with it.
Cons: Unlucky, it has some cons that I found, I hope they can be fixed in the future, it would make this tool much more interesting.
-It's not able to compress into RAR or ACE format, being a WinRAR user for years makes me want a "compress to RAR" option.
-It's not able to uncompress Install Shield self extracting files like WinRAR does.
Otherwise I'm very happy with it.

Version: BitZipper 5
Pros: I am the developer of BitZipper, and strongly object to the "review" posted above. BitZipper on no way corrupts DLLs on a user's system. It does not modify any files at all, and only install its own files in a directory you chose yourself.

Pros: speed at which it unzips and display of errors

Version: BitZipper 5
Pros: Overall the interface was nice and clean, and it worked for a little while.
Cons: Corrupt DDLs galore. I already had WinRAR on my PC, and BitZipper was set a default Zip Program. It still kept asking me If it wanted to be set as default program, after I would click yes BitZipper would crash. If I clicked no, it would not unzip my files.
