Publisher's description
From Bitberry Software :One of BitZipper's dominant strengths is its built-in support for ACE, ARC, ARJ, BH, CAB, GZ, JAR, LHA, LZH, RAR, TAR, TGZ, UUE, WAR, XXE, Z, ZIP and ZOO files; no third-party products are needed. Version 4.1 supports strong 128- and 256-bit AES encryption, is WinZip, WinRAR, and WinACE compatible and available in four languages.
Version 4.1 SR-1 adds a warning message that will be displayed if you try to run a potentially unsafe file stored inside a compressed file. BitZipper uses the same list of unsafe file types as Microsoft uses to block potential harmful attachments received to emails in Microsoft Outlook. You may disable the warning for each specific file type. A compatibility issue with Windows XP systems with the Windows option "Hide extensions for known file types" was solved.

Version: BitZipper 4.1 SR-1
"WinZip plus a whole lot more"
Pros: I always used WinZip mainly because I liked the interface and the program. However the main features that I want in WinZip are already in BitZipper. Firt of all, I only need one program to extract files instead of using both WinAce and WinZip. Secondly, it shows me the directory structure in the .zip file. This is nice because I can know when the .zip file has directory structure and I can extract files from a specific directory. There are many other features where this program trumps WinZip, but those two sealed the deal.
Cons: None

Version: BitZipper 4.1 SR-1
"The best of all the zip utilities I've tried."
Pros: First, it has all the features I need: AES encryption, backup utility, explorer-style browsing of archives, support for a number of formats. Of course, there are other zip utilities with comparable features, but what sets BitZipper apart, I think, is its clean, easy-to-use interface.
Cons: None worth mentioning.
