  "Worse than a virus"

  Pros: there is nothing good about bitdefender. any positive review must have been written by the owner.

  Cons: what i don't like:
  it does not work. ie, you get viruses. it breeds the poprock virus.
  there is no support.
  the troubleshooting stuff does not work.
  they refused to refund my money though it was guaranteed.
  
  it cannot be fully deleted.

  Summary: it is horrible. it does nothing, you get viruses and all malware. However, you can delete those, bitdefender cannot be deleted. It always comes back like a trojan. I deleted registry keys, everything. The icon is still in the tray. The only possibl... read more >>

  "Quality drops at each release. Now unusable (BDAV2009)"

  Pros: Silent and efficient.... when it works

  Cons: v2009 stalls and requires full and deep reinstall every few DAYS. Unusable. Fortunately BD sent me a License key for v2008, that is still palatable.

  Summary: I used BitDefender on a couple PCs concurrently from version "8" (~2002). BDv9 was as well was sans problem.

  "Horrible, Stinky, Pathetic!"

  Pros: Well, it was rated a "best buy" in Consumer Reports earlier this year...

  Cons: Slows my system down, takes forever to run scans, despite updates it misses spyware/malware, has fits with Windows Media Center, causes lots of problems with my cable internet connection, has lots of problems securing settings, etc, etc, etc.

  "Reallyy don't understand all the bad reviews here"

  Pros: Performs as advertised. I've had it for 3 years and have tried all the competition and the new Internet Security 2009 is as good as you'll find in a security suite. The strongest anti virus and all the other modules I use are flawless.

  Cons: Nothing bad at all to say about it

  "Dont buy this product!!!"

  Pros: There are no "pros" to this product.

  Cons: Everything is wrong with this product. Does not work with Gmail, auto-update does not work. I think the product has a virus bc my computer has had numerous problems since installation. Customer service is a joke, they refused to give me a refund.

  Summary: Software is terrible, company is terrible, what else can I say except, stay away!!! Don't buy it!!!
