  "Not good - won't uninstall!"

  Cons: Although it looked good enough it slowed my system too much & I decided to uninstall it. WHAT? Uninstalling seems to be something that it's creators don't like very much so It won't uninstall no matter what. The only solution is to disable it but it still remains in the system.

  Version: BitDefender Antivirus Plus 10

  "Used to be my favourite.Not anymore."

  Pros: Nice interface.Very easy to use.Caught everything.

  Cons: Sadly recently when scanning files it would stop scanning saying theyre corrupt.This got worse over the past month or so.Its a shame really as I liked BitDefender.Last night did it for me.It unchecked virus scanning and Firewall itself( I still had 10 months left on subscription)I tried everything and it wasnt having it.I was left open to attack,I clicked on them but nothing would happen.This is not the first time.

  I downloaded Zone Alarm pro AV and Firewall at 8pm last night and disabled Bitdefender.I ran a scan with Zone Alarm and nothing had got through luckily.Then was the worst to come, trying to uninstall BitDefender, it took ages.It would not remove with "Your Uninstaller", or windows uninstaller.I had to do it all manually, and use "MoveOnBoot"to get rid of stubborn files.Now believe it or not my Pc is a hell of a lot faster.I was up till the early hours sorting it out.Now my pc is running like a dream.

  "long scanning time, minor improvement to this new version."

  Pros: 1:hourly update of virus signature.

  2:It can scan for rootkit.

  Cons: 1:It take a long time to scan my computer(it took 40+ to finish scanning my computer while most antivirus software take 20+).

  2:It lacks the ability of customizing the real time protection option(such as what action to take when a virus is found).

  3:Probably there's some problem with the engine of the antivirus(it sometime does not scan inside archive).

  4:minor improvement of system resource usage(still a bit heavy).

  5:The "time remaining" still display incorrect.

  6:Old user interface.

  7:When i finished installing the trial version it say that it has expired.(for those who have try the previous version of the product, you might not be able to use this new version).

  "Improved but still the best"

  Pros: BitDefender has always been a proven security.Now it scans even deeper than before to detect all kinds of malware including 'rootkits'.Better interface.Hourly updates.Improved firewall and virus shield.Low on ram(512).

  Cons: Firewall is improved but still needs to be better.Need to go deep for some options.
