"Fails converting .Mov files"

Maybe it works on other kinds of files, I will never know.
Cons
Cannot convert .Mov files so it is useless to me.
Summary
I hoped this software would encode my Zoom Q3HD movie files. This is the sixth program I've tried and all have failed converting this type of .Mov file (wondershare, avi converter, ashampoo, Aoa, etc). I was prepared to pay for any program that would work. I did finally find DVD Flick which works albeit fitfully, and it is freeware. I talked to techs at a coule ot the above software sites and they have no answers, just that they would work on fixing the problem. No way I'll pay for a license if the trial version doesn't work properly. Doesn't anyone want my money for a program that actually converts .Mov files?? It is a very popular format.
I uninstalled it along with all the other encodingsoftware except DVD Flick.
