From Gina Trapani :This Firefox extensions features several Greasemonkey scripts that enhance Gmail, such as adding saved searches, attachment icons, label colors, keyboard macros, a filter assistant, and right-click conversation previews in one handy Firefox extension.
Better Gmail is a compilation of work done by several Greasemonkey scripters, including Mihai Parparita, Ming (Amos) Zhang, norcimo and Moktoipas. The scripts were compiled using Anthony Lieuallen's Greasemonkey Compiler.
Version 0.3 adds Gmail Super Clean, Hide Invites, One Click Conversations, and Unlabelled, among other new features and tweaks.

Version: Better Gmail 0.3
Pros: Gmail (and Google in general) is amazing, but this extension manages to improve on the best. Gina Trapani basically bundled a bunch of Greasemonkey scripts into one easy installation. Some of the best features include:
Attachment Icons
Attachment Reminder
Unlabeled message search
HTTPS Gmail access
I would strongly recommend customizing this extension (Add-ons->Better Gmail->Options) since you might not like the default settings.
Cons: Not up-to-date, but Firefox can automatically up-date to 0.4...and I'd recommend doing so since 0.4 has a much better "Options" interface.
Unfortunately all this user-end tweaking slows down Google services somewhat...HTTPS will do that, as will getting your browser to warp the data Google sends you.
