I am blind, I use the computer with the aid of special talking software. So as you can imagine I can not keep track of all the different updates etc This program is fantastic in that it does everything for me.

If I had a complaint about this machine it would be "why didn't I discover this earlier"

Could use more explanation of CIS benchmarks and easy way to complete a security profile for your configuration. Templates are a little vague to the usual user.
Summary
Have used this product [FREE] from 98 to XP Pro and would feel naked without it. Belarc has jogged my memory from time to time. Especially since I like to download and try different software and in turn have removed many. But with Belarc's analysis I always know what I have and what updates I need for my software profile at the time. It also allows me to non-automatically update Windows security and enhancements, using just the ones I need.
I would recommend this this small and non resource hog of a utility to anyone who pays attention to what is on their machine. It's an on demand utility that only runs when asked and doesn't eat at the memory and processor trough when not needed. Fast, reliable and accurate. You'll find this small utility outlifts its size and lives up to its claims. -

Thorough without being too "techy". Downloads and updates quickly.
Cons
Needs a printer friendly display with an easy to find print button. Scan told me to reload two Windows updates. When I checked them out they don't actually seem to be needed.
