Freeware. A metronome for the Pocket PC. A simple program I wrote for my son, who is learning piano. Compared to other free metronomes available for the Pocket PC, this one does not allow the computer to shut off due to inaction. It also allows the screen to be turned off for computers that support this function.

"Very bad -play with lags"

hmmm... at least it works

On my Glofish X500 this program plays beats with lags. It is completely unusable.

Don't waste your time on this software.

Pros
It functions like a metronome and it's free. That's what I was looking for.
Cons
No visual of beat pattern. Also, the metronome must be stopped in order to select a different beat time. Although most music falls within the range it does have limits and ranges from 40-240 bpm.
Summary
Overall, a good free option for having a metronome available all the time, but I would like to see one with a visual representation of the beat, and be able to change the tempo while the beat is going.

I agree with Renellro: this program is free, easy, and good. I especially like the "turn off screen" option. Combine it with Frequency Tuner 1.5 to get all you'll need.

Summary
Good: Nice, simple, easy-to-use and does the job.
Bad: Either my Yamaha Keyboard's metronome is off, or this program is a little off. A test at 120 shows it lagging behind after about 8 measures.
Overall: Still a good program! It will get you close enough if you're not concerned about perfect accuracy! -
