'Basic English - German Dictionary' is a freeware dictionary module for use with the shareware programs: 'Verbs & Nouns' or 'Verbs & Nouns Lookup'. You can download the latest versions of 'Verbs & Nouns' and 'Verbs & Nouns Lookup' directly.

'Basic English - German Dictionary' is based on the 'Project Gutenberg' versions of two Mr Honey's English - German dictionaries: Mr Honey's Beginner Dictionary and Mr Honey's First Touristic Dictionary. The original Project Gutenberg Etext is included. The dictionary can be used separately or in conjunction with the other English - German 'Verbs & Nouns' dictionaries. It contains more than 5000 English words and many phrases useful for a beginner. You can use the module for browsing, looking up words, exercises etc. You can add your own comments, definitions, phrases, or translations. You can also provide your own sound and pictures.
