Animate images, shapes, and texts, using predefined animation effects such as fade, zoom, and blur, or build animations from precreated images. Bannershop GIF Animator uses a powerful optimization engine that can significantly reduce GIF file size. The Optimization Wizard leads the user through the process, providing instant previewing of optimized animations, so users can balance between image quality and file size. The application can create single or multiframe animations. The master frame can be used as a background for entire animations, so repetitive graphics can easily be reproduced and managed. Extendable architecture allows adding new animation extensions. Version 5 introduces a revolutionary method of integration with vector graphic applications (for example, Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator). Vector images can be rasterized directly in the program.
Version 5.0.4 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, and bug fixes.

Pros: I created a professional banner in the space of 30 mins and it was my first time.
Cons: Had to read the manual for help as everything seemed confusing

"Fast, easy, free, and all-around superb product"
Pros: For a free product, this does everything I want it to do. No watermarks, easy, clean running, easy to follow and figure out.
Cons: I can see how for a beginner with computers it might be hard to understand this programme, but probably there is a good help file for such persons. The design is ugly, and it is somewhat archaic and simplistic, but it's FREE and is the best free gif animator out there.

Pros: This is a great program! Making single frame GIF's (usually used as signature images) are a breeze.
Cons: Not immediately clear how to make a moving GIF. Have not figured it out, yet.

Pros: This program is quite easy to use. I am a complete novice at animations, and I was able to design one in less than 15 minutes.
Cons: Right now, this program fits my needs. I cannot think of anything I do not like about it.
