Badongo Buddy is a desktop client to help members of the online storage site Badongo.com manage their uploaded files. It features basic tools, such as file Upload and Download. It also has some useful innovations, such as merge and FTP-style logging to let you track your behavior.
The Upload tool has a fully functional drag-and-drop feature, which makes uploads exceedingly simple. Distributing the URL for sharing of the file is just as simple as the upload process, since the link lives next to the uploaded file. A quick copy button makes the interface user-friendly. Another useful feature is that the Buddy creates a context-menu upload option for all files.
Download features are only available in the Premium version for the Buddy, but they're available online. The merge option lets users split and recombine large files for segmented uploading and downloading. Combined with the Badongo widgets for MySpace, the Buddy makes Badongo a formidable personal file distributor.

Version 3.0 features: upload a file by right-clicking any file on your computer and selecting "Upload to Badongo"; complete redesign of the user interface; upload and download graphs; configure your # of concurrent uploads and downloads; real time data transfer graphs.

Pros: I liked the quick install and the small footprint make this a must have. The compatability with MySpace and Friendster is also a nice touch.

"READ THE EULA!! Privacy issues!"
Pros: I like these free filehosting companies and, anything that gets my downloaders to avoid rapidshare is great by me. this seems like a brilliant idea, a program to downlod direct from badongo which, IMO, is one of the better RS alternatives out there. So for the idea, 10/10.
Unfortunately the reality may not be quite so brilliant...
Cons: I decided to read the full EULA while installing this as you usually don't get anything for 'free'.
As it turns out, it seems I was right to be cautious.
I copy & paste the following directly from the License Agreement:
You hereby grant Company permission to collect and store information of Your Internet usage habit, including but not limited to information about every web page You view with the full Uniform Resource Locators, and the content of web page. You understand and accept that Uniform Resource Locators and the content of web pages You view may include Your personally identifiable information. Company may at times ask you for Your personally identifiable information, such as name, address, email address, zip code, telephone number. You hereby grant Company permission to distribute all information as set forth in Company's Privacy Policy, as well as Your non-personally identifiable information, to our partners, agents, and/or any third party in Company's sole and absolute discretion without further notice to You.
6.4 You acknowledge that You understand that third party software may be installed in the Software and hereby agree that Company shall not be liable to anyone, including You, with respect to any damages resulting from such third party software.

Did that just say we will take ALL your PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE information as well as any other information from your PC, including the adresses of every web site? and then it actually said..we have the right to give or sell all of this information to anyone we wish?
Yep, it sure did.
I will be blocking this softare via whatever way it tries to connect with wherever it tries to connect to but if you don't know what you are doing, leave this well alone!
There is a program called RAPGET, google search foir it. It is independantly made and does the same job: Downloading automatically from badongo and about 50 other similar free filehost services. WITHOUT this SPYWARE!

Pros: LOOOOVE the drag & drop and right click features. All my friends know by now to check my Badongo Homepage for the my latest funnies, photos and music. No more endless email forwards. This place rocks
Cons: intergated file management would make this tool even better

Pros: It seems to be the only tool that is actually legal to use.
There seem to be alot of similar programs out there that seem somewhat shady to me.
Cons: The entire program is in english only.
I have seen other tools that have multiple languages to chose from.
If english is your first language, then this is the program to use

Pros: It's nice to run across a free product that actually does what it says. Need I say more?
Cons: Can be a memory hog..:(
