True to its name, Back2Life helps resurrect accidentally deleted or damaged files. The program's interface is straightforward, with an Explorer-like design and large, clearly labeled icons for performing all functions. Back2Life handles both simple recovery tasks such as deleted files and more complex cases such as files located on an improperly formatted or damaged drive. The program offers both quick and deep-scan modes and lets you filter results by filename, extension, approximate size, and last access date. Although the trial version will let you test its powers by showing you all found files, it can't restore documents larger than 100K. Though we doubt this application is powerful enough for IT professionals, home users who occasionally need to recover lost data will find it a handy tool.Publisher's description
From GrandUtils :Back2Life is a fast, powerful and easy-to-use data recovery tool. It recovers files that have been deleted, killed by viruses, formatted, or otherwise lost. It also supports data recovery from digital photo memory cards. No special skills are required: treat erased files just like normal ones in a file manager. Both FAT and NTFS file systems are supported.
